Monday means back to work, back to school.  If that sounds like a bummer, why don't you tag along with us to Fag School?  It's silly and dirty and gritty and filled with good things like band interviews and naked mens and reviews and real talk about being a go-go boy.

Like the title says, it's *NOT* all punk rock and safety pins.  Sometimes queer zines are about faded celebrities and xeroxed cocks.  One fine example is Susan Mini Mag #2.  In addition to the penii, SMM#2 has a lovely k.d. lang pin-up page, the titular tributes to Susan Dey, and a page of cute puppies!  There's something for everyone without being fun for the whole family.

A little fairey (actualy a big bear) let us know that the one and only Ms Vaginal Davis was going to be performing at the Utopias Performance Art Festival in Kingston, Ontario tomorrow.  Because Vag is such an important part of queer zine history we wanted thought it would be good to highlight one of her zines.  Thus, Yes, Ms Davis. 

Cowgrrrl Ink was one of the first zines that got included in the digital archive way back in the day.  A hotbed of feminist and lesbian activism coalescing around a group called The Cowgrrrls from 1994, this seems to be their newsletter/manifesta, and it's fantastic.

We don't get to call out 'hometown heros' often at QZAP, so it's with some pleasure that we give you today's zine… Fuh Cole #3.  Made in Milwaukee in the early 90s, this is a great piece of hystory.  It's got everything: rants against Kinkos and fundies, letters to the editor, local tidbits, cut-n-paste and more. 

Our pal Billy, zinester extraordinaire, has just released his first set of Zinester Trading Cards.  We submited a card for QZAP, and it got included in the first set.  The projct is silly, but it's a nice way to give props to the community of kooky self-publishers.  Assorted sets are $3 plus shipping.

We're feeling a bit rock-n-roll today.  Our pals The Shondes are playing down the street from QZAP HQ, and we thought that giving a shout to some queer music might be in order.  Thus, Queers Make Music from 2011.  Interviews, stories and more from Manchester.  Let's turn it up, shall we?
